parasite wood carvings are hand carved by highly skilled artisans in Indonesia. Parasite wood is a parasitic plant that grows on its host, the Chinaberry Tree. It feeds off the tree’s sap and is so strong that even when it’s host is dead this plant doesn’t decay.

The plants are collected by artisans who create the wonderful carvings below. These ‘wood roses’ are completely unique and individual, no two are the same!
