Celebrate Love with a Gift that Gives Back
Valentine’s Day is a celebration of love, and we believe love should go further than the traditional gift of overpriced flowers that fade too soon. At Just Luv It, we’re all about love for the people who make our gifts, for their communities, and for the planet we all share – so this year, why not choose sustainable Valentines gifts that mean more than just a token gesture?
We take very great care to find only the products that support skilled artisans around the world. Our suppliers must champion Fair Trade principles, and align with our commitment to reduce plastic pollution, mass production and unethical employment practices. So when you buy a Just Luv It gift, you’ll know it’s a Valentines gift with a conscience – good for people and good for the planet –that comes with a deeper story and will bring joy long beyond 14 February.
This month, we’d like to introduce you to one of the suppliers we’re proud to work with, and give you a few little Valentines gift ideas that tick so many of our favourite boxes!
One of our main suppliers who we are especially proud to work with has been supporting artisan communities across the globe for over 30 years.
They are UK-based but work closely with small producer groups in countries including India, Zimbabwe and South Africa, helping artisans earn a fair and reliable income through traditional craft skills. Their ethos is rooted in long-term relationships, fair wages and respect for both people and the environment.
Many of the pieces we stock from them are made from recycled aluminium, cleverly reclaimed and transformed into stunning bowls, platters, and salad servers. What might once have been waste is reimagined into beautiful homeware – each piece handmade and finished by skilled craftspeople – and they are some of our most popular items.

As is the case with all our suppliers, when you buy a product from us you’re not just buying something beautiful for your home or as a gift – you’re supporting families, preserving traditional techniques, and helping communities build sustainable futures. That’s the kind of love story we can all get behind, and some of them feature in our mini Valentines Gift Guide…
If you’re searching for Fair Trade Valentines gifts that feel thoughtful, personal and planet-friendly, here are a few ideas we love.

Our two peas in a pod wool keyrings are proof that small gifts can still make a meaningful difference. Made from 100% wool, these keyrings are Fair Trade, ethically produced and hand felted using traditional felting techniques. They’re perfect as a little matching Valentine’s Day gift.
There’s also this adorable Cupid piglet keyring, handmade in Nepal and delivering a love heart:

Or Romeo the Romantic Sheep, one of our favourites from the handmade felted sheep collection!

Our love heart collection of bowls and platters is of course a firm favourite for Valentine’s Day, for so many reasons! As well as being very much on theme, they’re crafted from recycled aluminium, which makes them both stylish and sustainable – and they’re also food safe, so you can use them for all sorts throughout the year.

For something more personal, our heart-shaped trinket boxes are ideal for storing smaller pieces of jewellery or treasured keepsakes. They make a beautiful standalone gift or the perfect presentation for a special piece of jewellery – especially for a milestone occasion or anniversary when you want to make a big impression.
Every purchase supports artisan communities by providing fair pay, independence and opportunity. At Just Luv It, we proudly adhere to the 10 principles of Fair Trade, ensuring transparency, sustainability and respect at every stage. All our items are boxed using recycled cardboard, keeping packaging sustainable and ocean-friendly too.
Choosing sustainable Valentines gifts means your gift carries even more meaning. When you give a gift that supports makers, strengthens communities and reduces environmental impact, you’re sharing a love story of care that is bigger than one day.
So this Valentine’s Day, celebrate in a way that feels good in every way – because the best gifts aren’t just loved by the people who receive them, they’re loved by the people who make them too.
