The September Event for wellbeing, handmade treasures and community
As summer gently begins to make way for autumn, there’s still time to enjoy one more lovely day outdoors. On Sunday 13 September, Just Luv It will be at Sunday Sanctuary at T’s Coffee – a welcoming wellbeing and handmade event set in a relaxed woodland setting, organised by me!
This is the first event I’ve organised, although it’s been an idea I’ve been thinking about for the past couple of years. And now it’s almost with us, on 13 September!
Here’s what it’s all about…
For a while now I’ve been wanting to create an opportunity for people to discover new ways to support their wellbeing, meet local practitioners, and shop more consciously. Perhaps you’ve heard of reflexology, acupuncture or sound healing but never felt confident enough to book an appointment – this is your chance!
Sunday Sanctuary is designed to be informal and accessible. You don’t need to have tried complementary therapies before, and you certainly don’t need to know exactly what you’re looking for. There will be a wide range of wellbeing practitioners and small businesses to explore, and you can simply wander around T’s Coffee Pitsford, enjoy the atmosphere and chat to the people taking part.
Visitors will also be able to discover support and advice around areas including menopause and men’s health, alongside yoga, Pilates and other approaches to movement and wellbeing. You might want practical guidance, a little inspiration or simply some time to think about your own health – whatever brings you along, there should be something to interest you, and no-one will be telling you what you should be doing. The idea is to open up conversations and help you find wellbeing options that feel right for you.
Alongside the wellbeing exhibitors, there will be a carefully selected collection of more than 20 local and sustainable small businesses. Each has been chosen because they have an awareness of what they create, how they create it and the impact their products can have on the environment.
There will be plenty to browse, including natural skincare, handmade soap, soy candles and menopause supplements. You might even discover aromatherapy products for dogs – because our four-legged friends deserve a little pampering too.
There will also be an RHS award winner among the exhibitors, adding a touch of gardening inspiration to the day. With such a varied mix of businesses, it should be easy to find something special for yourself, your home or someone you love.
And, of course, Just Luv It will be there too. I’m looking forward to sharing our own products and meeting people in person, as well as introducing visitors to the other talented local makers and practitioners involved.

Organising an event for the first time has been exciting, but I’ll be honest, it has also been quite stressful. There have been leaflets to design and print, social media posts to organise, exhibitors to contact and lots of planning behind the scenes.
I’ve also spent time personally delivering leaflets through local doors and encouraging the businesses taking part to share the event with their own audiences. It has been a real learning curve, but it has also been wonderful to see the idea develop and take shape.
A special thank you goes to Tracy at T’s Coffee, who has been incredibly supportive of the event and the vision behind it. Local radio, including BBC Northampton, has also helped spread the word, along with coverage in the Northampton Echo and Chronicle.
Although I’m not quite ready to say goodbye to summer yet, autumn is certainly just around the corner. After the summer of heatwaves, many of us – and our gardens – have had more than enough sunshine and soaring temperatures. Cooler evenings and cosy nights are beginning to feel rather appealing.
Sunday Sanctuary feels like a lovely way to sit between the seasons: one more opportunity to enjoy being outside, while taking time to think about our wellbeing and prepare for the months ahead.
So, if you’re nearby on Sunday 13 September, come along to T’s Coffee Pitsford. Entry and parking are free, the setting is dog-friendly and there will be plenty to see, browse and talk about.
Most importantly, come as you are. You might discover a new wellbeing practice, meet a local maker, find a thoughtful gift or simply enjoy a coffee and a gentle wander. I’d love to see you there. All the details can be found here: Sunday Sanctuary at T’s – Event Details
