The Great Hall of Oakham Castle is the finest surviving example of Norman domestic architecture in Europe. It was built between 1180 and 1190. The surviving structure is the impressive Great Hall of the Castle, where banquets and courts would have been held.
Rutland County Council bid for a Heritage Lottery Fund Grant and in 2014 Oakham Castle was awarded £2.1 Million by the Heritage Lottery Fund. Following extensive refurbishment works, the Castle re-opened to the public on 30th May 2016, and is now open 5 days a week with improved facilities offering an interactive and comprehensive guide to its 800 year history.
There is a varied program of events for adults and children alike, as well as daily activities for children. There is plenty for schools to do, too, from informal visits to full day sessions.
We also are a stunning wedding venue and can seat up to 80 guests.
The most gorgeous items to liven up any garden! Lovely team members too. Highly recommend to anyone and added bonus that the items are handmade and sustainable!

I love all of the eco-friendly gifts at Just Luv It. I recently had to ask for a replacement Glass Windchime, the replacement was made quickly and i also received an extra gift as an apology. I would highly recommend the gifts to anyone and more importantly they are made with green and sustainable materials. Love Just Luv It.

Ordered a Hanging Bird Feeder to replace one that got damaged in the strong winds earlier this year. Superb customer service: ordered late on Saturday afternoon, it was with us on Sunday afternoon. We came across Justluvit at a craft fair a few years ago and having gifted one of their products to some friends, they along with us have become fans. Good to support a company that produces excellent products that are also good for the environment. Happy to give them a big thumbs up.
